Enjoy a unique opportunity to run on Cahuilla Indian Reservation located in Anza, California. This unique event is a fundraiser for the tribe's Youth and Family Programming which puts on events for the tribe's youth throughout the year. Learn about the culture and history of the Cahuilla people while enjoying the beautiful mountain desert climate. 24 hour runners will enjoy a beautiful star filled sky at night in the quiet serene landscapes of Cahuilla Indian Reservation. Camp out on the softball field with your friends as you do the relay and take turns doing the 2-mile loop 128 ft loop, or run individually and challenge yourself to see how many miles you can get in before time is up. Half Marathon runners get a 13 mile tour of the reservation on 13 miles of rez roads.
24HR/12HR Races: 7:00am Start. Do as many 2-mile rez road loops as you can in either 12 hours or 24 hours. Prizes for top 3 male/female finishers. Cahuilla Rez 100-mile buckles will be given to runners who accomplish 100 miles or more in 24hrs. All finishers will receive medals and a race shirt.
24HR Relay Race: Gather a team of 4 to run as many 2-mile loops as you can in either 12 hours or 24 hours.
Half Marathon: 13.1 miles of Cahuilla Rez Roads, featuring rolling hills and wide dirt roads. Aid stations will be provided at mile 2, mile 6, mile 10 and the finish. Finishers will receive a medal and a race shirt. Prizes for top 3 male/female finishers.
Kids Fun Run: There will be a fun run for kids. All runners will receive Cahuilla Rez Run medals.
